Following last week, we’ll take another look at the late fine artist, illustrator, concept artist and storyboard artist John Watkiss’ artwork.
John was also an accomplished teacher. He taught anatomy and life drawing in London, which the animation director Richard Williams (Who Framed Roger Rabbit) regularly attended. He also gave workshops on theoretical construction to the world’s greatest and oldest animators during his time at Walt Disney Feature in Burbank.
